About Us

Hi and welcome to Family Porties!  We enjoy and have a passion for our family, work, Christ, and raising high-quality family porties! I own a metal roofing company for my day job and to keep busy my family and I raise Porties! We take pride in our business, customers, and employees which carry over to our high standard breeding practices to ensure you the best quality pup. We live in the quiet rural Ohio countryside where our children love playing with the puppies. Our dogs have plenty of room to roam and play outside every day. We ensure that all adult dogs get the loving attention they deserve, so they can provide families high quality litters to choose from.

 

Our family has been raising dogs for quite some time and now we are exclusively raising Portuguese Water Dogs. The temperament and demeanor of these dogs stole our hearts along with their love of the outdoors.

 

We have the mentality of doing things right or not at all. So, committing all of our hearts to the research we are devoted to only raising healthy dogs. For that reason, our dogs are only fed top quality dog food, supplements, and immune boosters. See our health and nutrition page. Our breeding dogs have to meet high standards of confirmation and genetic qualities before we consider breeding them. 

 

Jay, our good friend is a big part it serving our customers and making sure you have all your questions asked promptly when contacting us about our available puppies or upcoming litters. He manages our Instagram, calls, travel, and customer paw visits to make sure you experience is the best when adopting one of our porties. 

 

Puppies all go to their forever homes with vaccines and wormer up to date. East Holmes Vet Clinic approves and certifies all puppies with a clean bill of health before you take them home.
